During the course, you will have ample time to familiarise yourself with and practice using the equipment, such as eye loupes, otoscope, water irrigation systems, and microsuction systems.

We keep our class sizes small to ensure personalized attention and maximum learning opportunities. Plus, you'll be provided with light lunches and refreshments throughout the day.

Equipment Option

For those interested in acquiring all necessary tools for ear wax removal methods taught in the training, we provide a comprehensive optional equipment package. This package features an ear irrigation unit, a microsuction unit, Zoellner pen suction tubes, irrigator tips, head loupes, an otoscope as well as a video otoscope, and an aluminium ear tank. To opt for this package, simply choose “course with equipment” on the booking. Importantly, once purchased, the equipment is yours to keep without any recurring rental fees. Note that the equipment comes in large wheeled bag with extending handle for ease of handling, so ensure you have adequate transportation to take it away on the second day of training.

Pricing & Availability

We offer two course options: a course with full equipment, which comes with a complete pack of equipment for you to take away, and a course-only option. If you select the course-only option, please bring your own eye loupes and otoscope to the training, as these will be needed throughout the two days.

  • Each course location is priced individually based on the specific venue costs, as well as the expense of moving our team and all the required equipment to the location. In general, courses closer to our Midlands HQ are lower priced.

  • We hold our courses both in our Rugeley HQ, and also in various hotels up and down the UK. Browse our booking system for our latest availability.

  • Most of our locations offer free parking.

    For our Rugeley courses, we have a few off road parking spaces available, and there is adequate parking available in the surrounding roads.

  • We provide hot and cold drinks and snacks throughout the day. We also offer a selection of cold lunch options.

    Just let us know of any dietary requirements prior to the start of the course.

    On our Rugeley courses, there is a small convenience store located next to the clinic, should you need to purchase anything.

  • Absolutely! Our course is open to anyone that wants to become an ear wax removal specialist. Our course teaches you the anatomy of the ear and use of an otoscopes as well as irrigation and micro suction. You do not require any qualifications to attend our course.

  • Attending the course does not guarantee certification. Out tutors will be assessing your performance throughout the 2 days to determine whether you can be deemed safe to practice. In the event that we do not feel you have safely demonstrated key skills, we will recommend coming back for further sessions as required. This can range from £295 – £495, dependant on the level of training required. Please note the course is not refundable once you have attended, in the instance you have not been certified to practice.

  • If you achieve our safe practice standards, then you will be presented with our certificate at the end of the course.

  • As an industry, there is no regulating body for ear wax removal.

    Due to our small student numbers, places fill quickly so if you have preferred date, please book at your earliest convenience.

  • We usually aim to meet at 08.30 for coffee and light refreshments.

    Teaching starts at 9 AM.

    Morning coffee is usually at 10.30 with lunch at 12.30.

    Afternoon coffee is usually at 14.30 and we aim to finish around 17.00

    All times are flexible.

  • We suggest smart casual, students will be moving around practising clinical skills and need to be comfortable.
